Life’s Water
With nobody to turn to,
With nobody to shout at,
To hold in the midst of daylight,
Twilight,
Many say this,
Many thirst for this,
I always hunger for exquisite style,
Extravagant happiness,
It always seem further away,
Deeper hidden,
Love shows,
Anger follows.
With nobody but myself,
I strive for excellence,
For happy attitudes,
Water soaked,
Out of breath,
And unforgotten,
Comes to mind,
Wherever you are,
I am.
You left with half of my heart,
Half of my head,
Half of me,
And yet,
Nothing comes to mind.
You’re here every day,
Every hour,
And yet,
I don’t miss you,
I don’t hate you either.
Don’t be afraid,
I saw what it’s like,
How loss feels,
I lost everything,
And yet
I don’t care,
I am not ashamed,
Of being me,
The truth is,
Happiness is locked up,
With the key,
Who one person has,
Some lost it,
While others lose it,
I on the other hand,
Stand strong,
With my head up,
Fist held high,
Shouting.
“Come! And taste life’s water”
Stomping and jumping,
Yelling….
“Happiness…”
