True Friendship

Friends never seem to stop,

They are always there,

Whether or not,

You’re in a jam.

They are fun,

Inspirational,

And a little annoying,

But still……

They help us.

Shape us.

Everyone has a friend,

Old or young,

Brand new or life long,

Whatever it seems,

They just ‘be’ there.

When we are together,

We are unstoppable,

Not ‘lovable’ but likeable

The greatest thing is friends.

They help you,

Pick yourself up,

To brace you,

Through the hard times,

As you would for them,

Many people are not like that,

They don’t help,

Some push farther,

Go to the extreme,

Friends are friends,

We are made like that,

We thirst for friends,

As do others,

Friends are there,

Through whatever it takes,

Through your mistakes,

Mishaps and pitfalls,

Friends,

Where are they?

And the nice, sweetness

From them?
