Pain Hurts The Mind

Pain,
Twists like a driven nail,
It turns,
Digs deeper,
With each step you take,
It hurts,
But drives deeper with each meaning,
Hurt, each expression gone,
The tale is done,
But the feelings still there,
Emotions drive deep through,
The ages.
Many gone,
Many alive,
Feelings hurt either way,
Friends or foes,
They were together,
They liked eachother,
They paid for it.
Pain,
It hurts,
Like a driven nail through my heart,
Your heart,
Friendships formed,
Are broken,
Pain hurts,
The tales come and go,
Emotions stay,
They never leave.
