Blood spilled,
My life filled,
Hunger for you,
For emotion,
Freedom.
Something hard to find,
To cherish,
The armor,
The shield,
Sword,
Helmet,
Taken up,
Put on,
They shaped us,
Encouraged us,
Cherished many,
And yet still-
Sorrow comes over us,
Sadness craddles our interior,
Death shakes us.
Put on the armor,
Sharpen the sword,
Tighten the helmet,
Shine the shield,
Many perished,
There's you,
You have the ability to change,
To take down sorrow,
Overcome sadness,
Cheat death,

It floats here and there.
Grasps you,
Holds onto you

No matter what you're going through.
