Spirit Changing

I feel my life changing before my eyes,
Everything spinning so fast I can't breathe,
Like I've given up on myself and somebody new took over,
I picture that new person, as a strong, happy individual.
But when I look in the mirror,
All I see is me pointing a finger straight back at me,
Saying "Lets do this Sam.."
I see my lips move and a sound comes out of it too,
But I couldn't feel them.
I see my eyes dart back and forth
But my mind is blank.
Is this what the new me has in store?
I didn't know what was happening,
I did know that today I walked in here as my Old Self,
And today I am walking out as somebody new.
